They're taking over

What? Is it the liberals? No, silly, I'm talking about boxes.

Slowly, over a couple of weeks I have been amassing boxes. They are all the same size and shape and have lids. This is important because that way they are more stable when little Kelvin wants to climb on them. My hope is that I can acquire enough boxes to build large, temporary indoor structures to play on and around with Kelvin during the winter. It's hard to be a kid in the winter; shut indoors so much of the time. So when ever he comes over to Aunt Rissa's house he has something fun to play on. Just so you know, I realize this is a ridiculous idea. I don't really want a huge stack of boxes laying around the house all the time. But now that I've picked up boxes for the last couple of weeks from the computer lab this idea has sort of gained its own momentum. They save boxes for me. If I don't show up I see the lab employees around campus and they ask me when I'll pick up some more boxes. Also, I'm wondering how long just a simple stack of boxes can be fun to an-almost-2-year-old-kid. Is more boxes more fun? Or does the idea just get old after a while? For now, so far so good. Becky (Mom) tells me that Kelvin has linked my name and boxes in his mind and will ask for both when he wants to visit. It's not a contest, but if it were, I'd be his favorite Aunt/Uncle.
