The Visit

Doug and Becky's house is still being remodeled. That is why Becky and the baby spent most of last week enjoying the dust-free air of my house. It was nice to have her; she did dishes, cooked, re-potted a very tragic plant and was generally good to be around. She brought her camera and we have pictures of the visit but they're almost entirely of Kelvin. What is it with babies?

This is a hat I knit while sitting through that long long trial. See something good came of my time.


This is Kelvin and our new beloved pet, Tusk. At first they did not get along so well. Kelvin loves cats and would chase Tusk around. To deal with this problem Tusk would stick his claws in Kelvins head. Bad! But then Kelvin and Tusk learned to play together. I'm not joking here. Kelvin figured out how to manipulate the cat fishing pole. The rest is history. Thank God. It was difficult to keep them apart but so bad to put them together.
