Summer is a time for doing

So far a good summer. But there is too much to cover in detail so I will sum up.

I went to a rabbit show with my aunt in Ellensburg. It was madness! There were so many rabbits there and so many different kinds, too. Aunt Lorraine went a little crazy (which she evens admits later) and took home 6 rabbits. I got some bunnies, a brown one and a black one and intend to try and breed them. We'll see how that goes this fall.

I went white water rafting with the family. Actually, it was just me and the boys. With all of this baby nonsense the other ladies couldn't go.

But the camping together was nice. We found a small campground tucked away in the woods. It lacked running water and I suspect that's why they had spaces left. And there were smores.

We even found time for a little hike before we left.

This is what most of the trip looked like for Allie. Perhaps you think 4 years is too old to be carried up a mountain. Even though Ian will agree with you, know that it is just lip service. The view from the top was pretty amazing.

I think this one is of Mt. Adams. It's hard to recall perfectly because we could also see Mt. Hood and Mt. St. Helens.
Ian and I visited the west side recently as well. A friend of mine noted that she doesn't seem to post about the big things in her life and the same is true for me. A couple of months ago I became the proud aunt of a fourth nephew and we went west to see the newest baby in my life. A lovely baby who is very lucky to have such wonderful parents.
So far a good summer.
