Random collection

This has been a very mild January. So mild that things have started to come up in the flower garden. There are pine trees in the back yard and the pine needles have been blowing in all winter long. I'm pretty used to it but looking at this picture reminds me that I need to rake the irritating things up.
With a lot of nice weather maybe you think I've gotten lots of good work done on the coop but this is not the case. Only tiny aesthetic advancements have been made. But we have found some time for building.

This is one of the two raised beds that will host my garden come spring. The legs will be pointing down, of course, as stabilizers. I am very excited. I have been drooling over seed catalogs all month. Ian says he'll working on getting them filled with soil if I get them set up. The catch is I can't build them alone so I need to coerce some one into helping me. Who knows when this project will be done. Hopefully before spring. Just like the coop.
I recently had tea so delicious I was inspired to photograph it.
I assume I had blogging in mind but it made me smile to see these totally pointless series of pictures of tea when I downloaded the set. Some things seem so logical while I'm doing them but not in retrospect.
